A Message from Sandy
As we come to the close of 2008, I want to thank you for your support, prayers and encouragement over the past year. You have helped victims of domestic violence begin a safe and healthy future, provided children with the tools they need to succeed in school, and given practical assistance to families in crisis to help them rebuild their lives.
As you plan your end of the year giving, I hope you will consider Women of Worth, which has been serving families in crisis since 2001. The economy has placed a strain on many families, dramatically increasing the number of crisis calls we have received this year.
Any gift, large or small, has a tremendous impact on the lives of the families we serve. The generosity of the community in providing countless volunteer hours and in-kind donations allows us to maximize the impact of every financial donation.
As always, we promise to be wise stewards of your gifts. All gifts are tax-deductible and greatly appreciated. To receive a tax deduction for 2008, checks should be mailed by December 31.

Don't know what to do with your old cell phones? WOW will take them! We recycle cell phones and accessories. Newer phones are refurbished for clients and older phones are recycled and cash donated back to Women of Worth. It's good for the planet and good for Women of Worth!
