Serves children of single parent families in need of a positive role model and friendship by matching them with mature, responsible and protective adults.


Family Preservation Team

The Family Preservation Team is comprised of a public health nurse, a social worker and a therapist. The purpose of the program is to meet the needs of families by providing in-home support services to enhance parental function, child development and the preservation of the family.

Referrals can be made by any public or private agency, school personnel, therapist or counseling service and the court system. Clients can also self refer. There is no cost for services and income is not of importance except as to how it relates to the services needed by the family.

Physical location: Laura Wilcox Children’s Services Building, 208 Sutton Way, Grass Valley, CA 95945. Monday through Friday am to 5 pm.
