How do I begin to thank you? It is because of programs such a Women of Worth that my daughter and I can continue to live in a non-violent environment. When you see those words on paper — non-violent — it seems like such a simple thing. As in, ‘Well, doesn’t everybody live violence free?’

I am living proof that domestic violence exists and can be overcome with the support of family, friends, strangers and others who have your best interest at heart. As I look back on my journey to my God-given right to have my child and myself live in a healthy, non-violent home, I am overcome with gratitude for Women of Worth. You were always there when I needed you with no questions asked. It is my purest hope and prayer that anyone who is in a domestic violence situation will tell someone they need help.

Someday I would absolutely love to help other women who are starting their own long journey to healing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your help.
