“A Day of Giving” Telethon Supports WOW

Women of Worth (WOW) is joining with NCTV and other local nonprofits to air a 12-hour telethon called A Day of Giving on Saturday, November 1. This is WOW’s biggest fundraiser of the year.

Following are some ways that you can participate in this event:

• If you are a business, consider donating a percentage of sales on the day of the telethon and/or donate gifts or services to give away during the telethon.
• Volunteer to answer pledge phone lines for a two-hour time slot on November 1.
• Pledge your support in advance or during the telethon. All pledges will be collected after the event.

You can pledge your support in advance by calling WOW at (530) 272-6851 or mailing your pledge to Women of Worth, P.O. Box 213, Cedar Ridge, CA 95924 (Attn: PLEDGE).

To make pledges during the telethon, you may call the NCTV volunteer operators on November 1 at (530) 478-1174 or (530) 478-6400 extension 249, 250 or 263.

Your support helps victims of domestic violence and families in crisis rebuild their lives and become self-sufficient.
